Membership Information

Membership is open to women of good moral character and reputation who have college degree(s) or other education beyond high school and/or equivalent professional work experience.

Our Sorority is a “Sisterhood” of distinguished professional women from various businesses, professions, vocational occupations and organizations.

The primary purpose of graduate chapters is to strive for the improvement of the status of women, youth, seniors, and the African American community through educational programs, outreach activities, and financial assistance.

In addition, graduate chapter members serve as mentors for Gamma Phi Delta’s 4 Youth Auxiliaries: Rosebuds, Phi-Teens, Junior Cavaliers and Cavaliers. These members essentially serve as role models and give instructional training in refinement and culture and conduct workshops on college preparation, college applications, choosing a career, job applications, job interviews and how to apply for grants and scholarships, as well as providing motivational sessions on goal setting.
